Thank You Annapolis

After a little more than a year of running the site, it's time to say goodbye.

A little more than a year ago, I moved to Annapolis and started the exciting adventure of launching Historic Annapolis Patch.

It wasn’t easy, but it certainly has been rewarding. We started calling businesses and organizations in the area to build an extensive online directory. The site officially launched in October 2010—.

Since then, it’s been an incredibly exciting ride as editor. Although I thought my days of chasing natural disasters were over, I got my weather gear back out again when an , and flooding struck the area in just a short period of time. We also brought you updated information when a .

It was also really exciting to interview honoring their father and to follow the latest updates with the .

Thank you all for all your support, tips, encouragement and feedback during this time. I have had so much fun meeting many of you and sharing your stories. Thanks as well to my colleagues in Anne Arundel County and our contributors and bloggers for all that you do.
