Patch invites you and your circle of friends to help build a community of support for mothers and their families right here in Greater Annapolis. Each week in Moms Talk, our Moms Council of experts and smart moms take your questions, give advice and share solutions.
Moms, dads, grandparents and the diverse families who make up our community will have a new resource for questions about local neighborhood schools, the best pediatricians, 24-hour pharmacies and the thousands of other issues that arise while raising children.
Moms Talk also will be the place to drop in for a talk about the latest parenting hot topic.
With this past weekend, the Moms Council is taking up the idea of going green.
This week's question: What are you doing to make sure your kids grow up green? What are some family practices you use to instill environmental stewardship in your children?
Do you make them take out the recycling each week? Volunteer? Do you leave it up to the schools? Do you harp on them to take shorter showers and shut the lights off if they're not in the room?
Come on in, join the conversation and share your thought by leaving a comment below (note you must sign up to be a Patch user before you can make comments on the site).
Tune in next week for another question from our Greater Annapolis Moms Council or send your questions to editor john.wilfong@patch.com and put "Moms Talk" in the subject.
