Woman Catches Man at Kitchen Window, Police Say

The victim told police she heard her kitchen window slide open around 3:30 a.m. on Friday.

Annapolis Police arrested a man in connection with a burglary in the 800 block of Brook Court after the homeowner identified him early Friday morning.

Police said the woman was sitting on her couch in her living room around 3:30 a.m. Friday when she heard noises coming from the kitchen window. Then she heard the window open, police said.

The woman told police she opened the mini blinds and saw that the window had been opened, and there was a man staring back at her. She reportedly asked him what he was doing, but he didn't respond. According to the police report, he stood there briefly before walking away.

Police said the woman immediately called police, saying she was in fear for herself and her children—who were asleep in the home.

Officers searched the area and arrested Pedro Green, 23, of Annapolis, based on the woman's description. She later identified Green as the man she saw at her window.

Green was charged with fourth-degree burglary and two counts of trespassing. He was released after posting $10,000 bond.

Brooke Court, for those using google maps, off Newtowne Dr. Thank you Patch for the important crime reporting you are doing. Wondering where the man roaming around on bond is headed next?
