Police are investigating whether there is a connection between a string of burglaries at homes being renovated in Annapolis.
"They all seem like they've been left unsecured by people coming and going," Detective Amy Miguez said. "We don't know if they are related or not."
Miguez said the police are investigating whether someone may be targeting homes under construction or if the houses share contractors whose employees might be responsible.
The most recent burglary occurred in the 800 block of Chester Avenue between Sept. 21 and Sept. 23. Someone stole between $10,000 and $30,000 worth of designer clothing and a black Specialized Rock Hopper men's mountain bicycle.
"[The homeowner] is not living there right now because it's under going construction," Miguez said. "She had a bunch of clothing racks stored there, and they cleared them out."
A Maryland Avenue homeowner had four new flat-screen televisions and two new wall mounts stolen during their home renovation sometime between Sept. 11 and Sept. 17, according to an Annapolis Police report.
Police reported no signs of forced entry in either case.
