Infant Flown to Shock Trauma From Eastport

The child was flown to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center from the Eastport Fire Station Wednesday evening.

An official with the said a 7-month-old child had to be transported by helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for injuries incurred on Wednesday evening.

Tony Spencer, fire department spokesman, said his department received the call at about 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.

He said he does not have a condition update on the child. He also said he did not have specific information on the nature of the injuries.

The infant was flown by helicopter from the to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, he said.
