Man Injured at Brigade Sports Complex

A member of the public was injured on the ice at the rink on the Naval station near the Naval Academy Golf Course.

A man suffered a head injury Wednesday at the Brigade Sports Complex at the Naval Support Activity Annapolis off Greenbury Point Road.

Judy Campbell, a spokeswoman for the , said a member of the public was injured on the ice rink. No other information on the patient was available.

Tony Spencer, spokesman for the , said the Naval Academy Fire Department called his department to assist at the sports complex near the Naval Academy Golf Course at about 5:10 p.m. Wednesday. Spencer said the man suffered a head injury.

The man was flown by helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore.

No further information was available on his injury or his condition.
