Man With Gun Removed from Car in Home Depot Lot

The man was hospitalized following the incident, police said.

Police removed a man from his vehicle Wednesday afternoon after he was spotted with a gun in the Forest Drive Home Depot parking lot in Annapolis.

Anne Arundel County Police Department spokesman Lieutenant T.J. Smith said police were alerted to the presence of a man parked in the lot with a gun.

When police arrived, they cordoned off the area to ensure the safety of nearby residents, then removed the man from his vehicle, breaking a window in the process. No officer used their service weapons during the incident, Smith said.

The unidentified man was taken to a local hospital, Smith said. No charges have been filed and there is no indication of foul play, he added.

Sounds shady!! Eye witness says cop shot him and he we all know he was taken out by helicopter and not to a local hospital. Cover up.....

The man shot himself. The shot was heard by a HD associate, but he didnt notice anyone in the car because the man was slumped over. Another vehicle pulled up and parked next to the man and he called police. Police cordoned off the area and were calling for him to put down his gun. They wasted time while he was injured, instead of having the guts to creep up to the car and check out the situation!

This is bs. I was at the Home Depot at the time of the incident. I witnessed police shoot 11 shots into the car. Then I sat around for 15 min. I saw paramedics pull up next to the car with the victim in it but never saw them pull him or her out. All I want is the truth to come out.
