A 33-year-old male died after being struck by a Land Rover at the intersection of Rowe Boulevard and Route 50 in Annapolis on Sunday, according to Maryland State Police.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene just before 8:45 p.m. Anne Arundel County Fire Department official Capt. Mike Pfatlzgraff said they transported the man with life-threatening injuries to Anne Arundel Medical Center.
State police confirmed that the man died at the hospital on Sunday night. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Authorities have not disclosed the man's identity.
On Friday night, an 18-year-old Severn woman died after being struck by a Jeep Wrangler while trying to cross near the intersection of Solomons Island Road (Maryland Route 2) and West Street.
