Police: 13-Year-Old Beaten for his iPhone

Another boy punched the 13-year-old in the nose and back of the head several times before taking the phone and fleeing, police said.

A 13-year-old was beaten and his iPhone taken in a robbery on Silopanna Road in Annapolis Monday afternoon, police said.

The boy was walking home when he was approached by a teen between 16-17 years old , who demanded his phone, a new iPhone 5s, according to a police report. The suspect pushed the boy to the ground and went through his pockets.

The suspect then struck the boy several times in the nose and the back of the head before taking the phone and fleeing.

The victim said he saw another teen standing nearby as a lookout and ran in the direction of the suspect after he fled.

Too bad you can't do anything with an iPhone 5s when it's protected with a password. Kids are gonna get in trouble (if they're caught) for stealing something that's worthless but yet very valuable. Idiots.
