Police Arrest Man Accused of Stabbing Two People

Annapolis police said that one of the victims named her ex-boyfriend as the attacker.

Annapolis police arrested Adrian Leander Williams, 25, on Monday in connection with the June 6 stabbing of his ex-girlfriend and another man, according to the Capital Gazette

"The 19-year-old woman told police she and Williams had a relationship for about a year and recently broke up," according to the Capital. "She told police Williams had called her earlier, threatening her if he caught her with another man."

Police said that Williams entered the residence on the 1100 block of Frederick Douglass Road through an open door. When he found her with a 28-year-old male, Williams allegedly punched the woman.

According to police, the other man then tried to stop Williams and a struggle ensued. Police said that Williams then allegedly stabbed the man three times in the back with a folding knife and cut the woman on the arm before fleeing.

Wiliams was charged with two counts of first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment, as well as a concealed dangerous weapon charge.

Police told the Capital that a bail review hearing was scheduled for Tuesday morning.
