Black Friday Assault at Annapolis Mall Caught on Camera

A video of the assault was posted on YouTube.

A 17-year-old girl was attacked at Victoria's Secret in Annapolis while shopping on Black Friday, police said Tuesday.

The teen said she was attacked by two females who approached her at 12:40 a.m. Friday at the Westfield Annapolis Mall.

A woman pushed the teen to the ground, then jumped on top of her, while a second suspect also jumped on her, then kicked her in the head, according to a police report.

The victim said she had never seen the suspects before.

A video of the assault was posted on YouTube, and Anne Arundel County police have distributed screenshots from the video in an effort to catch the suspects.

Why post this?
Kellie Houston Dohony December 03, 2013 at 04:48 PM
Because the "women" who attacked the 17 year old need to be found and be held accountable!!!!!
Melinda Bedard December 03, 2013 at 06:04 PM
What a bunch of animals! I hope they catch both of those idiot women! I that was me, I would have punched right back in the head!

Therapist they post things like this so that those of use who live in the real world and not in the liberal clouds where Santa Klaus comes once a year, see what is happening to this country. Mr. Smith great job. The numbers (ratings) are fabulous.

Toss a piece of meat into a crowd of starving people and you get the same reaction. This is pure greed. So sad to see where we are headed as a society. And not too many years down the road Black Friday will be starting the Monday before Thanksgiving.

Give Law Enforcement a chance to solve. If they can't then post it.. glamorizing doesn't help. Of course its a mute point because of You Tube...

buzz beeler.......therapist asked a question and your response is just as bad as the people fighting in the video. NOBODY has any respect for ANYONE any more nor do they care about another persons point of view. Her question did not constitute your rude response. Its people just like you that is making America the way it is.

Therapist - The police are asking for the public's help in identifying the women in the video who did the attacking. News outlets have used the video as a way to show the public who it is that the police are interested in questioning.

Doesn't matter at this point because it's on You Tube. Which is maybe why Law Enforcement went ahead and posted it anyway. Just saying this might look cool in some of our youths minds and getting the attention may be what they are looking for. That's all.

Therapist, we as a society cannot ignore or bury our heads in the sand. History has taught us that. What will deter issues like this is hard core accountability and not just a slap on the wrist. Society must do what the parents and people themselves refuse to do.

Therapist... A Mute Point??? Really???
Therapist December 04, 2013 at 12:30 PM
You know "a mute point", it doesn't really matter since its on You Tube anyway No one is burying their heads..lol.. and society will not ignore this if we don't post this in Annapolis Patch.. good lord what did I start

Gosh, Therapist, it sounds like you want bad news censored so there will be no copycat crimes. Why didn't the cops figure this out ages ago and close down all the newspapers? Maybe if we only printed good news, folks wouldn't be so darned grumpy and they'd be all smiles and rainbows and chocolate chips! I cna just imagine a nation where all the newspapers have only good news in them; the jails would ahve to be filled with good people! I thought we couldn't say "black" anymore. Isn't it properly PC to call it "African-American Friday"? Surely you know about "mute points" Ben. They aren't worth discussing so you just keep... mute.

Wow, this video really gets me in the holiday spirit. I now understand the meaning of Christmas at the maul. Victoria Secrets....really? It's going to take a whole lot of make-up and their best lingerie to generate interest in the 'ladies' making youtube's 10 worse idiots list. Hope the public identifies the assailants.

First, I am glad it was posted so people can see how ridiculous this whole Black Friday issue is. Now that retailers are starting to open on Thanksgiving, it is only going to get worse. Secondly, I believe Therapist meant "moot", not "mute", unless of course, she wants it to be "mute". It isn't glamorizing anything. I hope they are able to catch whoever did this, which probably wasn't the point of posting it anyway, but since it's out there, I'm glad law enforcement will be able to use it.
