Stereo, Tools Stolen from Vehicles

A car trailer and a 1997 Corvette were both broken into while parked at 151 Motorsports in Annapolis.

An estimated $2,000 worth of tools and stereo equipment apparently was stolen from a vehicle parked outside an automotive store in Annapolis, according to Annapolis Police.

The owner of 151 Motorsports on Gibralter Avenue said he was leaving the store around 4 p.m. on Monday when he noticed damage to the lock on his car trailer. He told police he opened the trailer and saw that his Honda power generator and Craftsman air compressor were gone.

A customer's car, which was parked next to the trailer, also was broken into. According to a police report, someone also stole a Pioneer car radio, Bass Inferno power amplifier and Bass Inferno 12' subwoofer.

The car's dashboard also was damaged.
