Three people punched, kicked and robbed a 16-year-old boy Friday night in Annapolis, according to city police.
The teen told police he had just left a 7-Eleven and was walking in the 1600 block of Forest Drive around 8:45 p.m. He reportedly saw an acquaintance and two other people who were wearing ski masks on the other side of the street.
Police said the victim crossed the street and tried to engage the trio in a friendly conversation, but they punched and kicked him until he fell to the ground.
The assailants then took his iPhone and wallet.
The teen called police when he got home. He refused medical treatment despite back pains and bruises on his forehead and left forearm.
