Trailer Stolen With $150,000 of Boating Equipment

Annapolis Police say someone stole a cargo trailer with sails and tools from Bert Jabin's Yacht Yard sometime between Sunday and Monday.

A trailer with about $150,000 worth of boating equipment was stolen from Bert Jabin's Yacht Yard at 7310 Edgewood Dr., according to Annapolis Police.

A man told police that his 2005 W&M Enterprise V-nose cargo trailer was parked in a storage lot and contained sails, tools, water safety equipment and other gear for his boat named Downtime.

The owner also reported that the name of his boat is inscribed on the trailer's side, and that trailer's ball mount was left unsecured.

The trailer has a Maryland tag that reads 84961TL.

Police said the theft likely occurred sometime between Sunday and Monday afternoon.

It was probably an inside job. How the heck did the thieves know that it was unsecure? There should be an investigation involving everyone working on the transport of that trailer. - http://mantusanchors.com/
