An Annapolis cab driver was robbed at knifepoint by two men he picked up for a fare around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The cab driver told police he picked up three men in downtown Annapolis who asked to be driven to Annapolis Neck Road in the area of Hillsmere. One of the men asked to be let out at the intersection of Hillsmere Drive and Quiet Waters Park. He paid his fare and left, police said.
The driver reported that he struggled with both subjects, but they managed to take his money and flee on foot towards Annapolis Neck Road.
The driver also fled on foot to a nearby gas station where he called the police. Officers said they searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
