Verizon Wireless Store Burglarized in Annapolis

Police say someone stole an Apple iPad and iPhone worth about $800.

Someone threw two bricks in an attempt to smash the glass door of a Verizon Wireless store in downtown Annapolis early Wednesday morning, according to city police.

An officer responded to the store in the 200 block of Main Street around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday after it was reported that someone had thrown the bricks.

Police said the glass door was cracked but still in one piece when the officer arrived. He reportedly observed that someone was able to push the glass panel back and climb into the store.

The store owner arrived and reported an Apple iPad and iPhone worth approximately $800 were missing.
