Annapolis city officials announced Wednesday plans to lift restrictions to roads during the emergency snow plan initiated during Tuesday's snow storm.

Residents can now park along the emergency snow routes, and anyone who parked their vehicles in city garages are being reminded by city officials to retrieve them before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Those who parked in city garages during the storm must obtain a snow voucher at the parking garage office by showing proof of residency. Using the voucher, they can leave the garage free of charge.

The city's Public Works Department has deployed 10 trucks to make several passes on area roads until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

This week's snow storm will not affect yard and waste collections, according to a release.
