The City Dock Advisory Committee is hosting a public workshop on Thursday to take public commentary on the future of the City Dock area.
The meeting will be held at the Community Services Building (former recreation center) at 7 p.m. 9 St. Mary's St.
Mayor Josh Cohen said the purpose of the meeting is to gather public opinion about how City Dock should look and function going forward.
"What do people like about City Dock? What do they not like?" Cohen said. "What services or amenities would like they like to see?"
The city created the 25-member committee in 2010 with the goal of re-envisioning the downtown City Dock area. It is spearheaded Kurt Schmoke, the former mayor of Baltimore.
In 2011, the group produced a Visions and Guiding Grinciples document that outlined the general goals of any potential City Dock overhaul.
