Navy football fans have the opportunity to join Head Coach Ken Niumatalolo for lunch and talk about the season on four different Tuesdays this fall.
"It gives people an inside look at Navy football," said Associate Athletic Director Scott Strasemeier. "It's a good lunch, but it's also an opportunity to meet the coach and ask him a question or two."
The 2012 Navy Football Luncheon Series will kick off at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the N-Room at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
During the lunch Niumatalolo and host Pete Medhurst will "break down the upcoming season, including the opener on Sept. 1 against Notre Dame," according to a press release. The team flies out to Ireland the next day to face the fighting Irish on Saturday at Aviva Stadium.
The lunches cost $25 per person, which includes parking, and Strasemeier said the room can hold up to 75 people. Luncheons also will be held on Oct. 2 (Air Force week), Oct. 16 (Indiana week) and Dec. 3 (Army week).
People interested in attending should call 1-800-US4-NAVY or log on to navysports.com to order tickets. Tickets also will be available at the door.
