Military Members Can Enjoy Discounted Rounds of Golf

Eisenhower and Compass Pointe golf courses have a Military Appreciation Week planned for April.

Members of the military will be able to play Eisenhower and golf courses in Anne Arundel County for a special rate as part of a Military Appreciation Week.

From April 9-15, active and retired members of the military can play 18 holes at either course for $25 Monday through Friday and for $35 on Saturday and Sunday. That price includes greens fees, a cart and lunch, according to a release from Billy Casper Golf, which manages the county-owned courses.

There also will be long-drive, closest-to-the-pin and putting contests daily at each course—Eisenhower in Crownsville and Compass Pointe in Pasadena.

“The Naval Academy and Fort Meade, among other installations, give Anne Arundel County a strong military tradition,” Mike Senneca, general manager of Compass Pointe, said in an email. “The reduced rates allow us to give back to the men and women in uniform who serve this country."
