For the second year, Baltimore County’s Sagamore Racing is asking the public to help name a yearling, reports WJZ TV. The thoroughbred was born during the blackout that happened in the second half of the 2013 Super Bowl.
Sagamore Racing’s website describes the foal this way:
“Smart, quiet and speculative. Not to mention, SWEET. He’s a pleasure to be around. There isn’t much that truly bothers him. In terms of physicality, this foal has quite the stature. He’s tall, sturdily built, and boy, is he handsome! You wouldn’t know it by looking at him, but he is also a descendent of the Great Grey Ghost, Native Dancer.”
To offer up your suggested name, “like” the Sagamore Racing Facebook page and enter the contest. From those submitted, the possible names will be narrowed to five and the name with the most votes at the end of the month wins, says the TV station.
