Tucked inside the entrance to A.L. Goodies General Store, Uncle Bob's Fudge Kitchen has been helping satisfy all the locals with a sweet tooth since 1980. Uncle Bob's mission is "to make the world a sweeter place," and the shop sells smooth fudge, peanut brittle, cookies, chocolate-dipped Oreos, pretzels, dipped apples and more.

Everything is baked or made on site. Fudge flavors include chocolate, chocolate pecan, chocolate peanut butter, maple pecan, vanilla, vanilla pecan, peanut butter and rocky road, and all the fudges are cooked in a traditional copper kettle and cooled on Vermont marble tables. Not sure if you like fudge? Stop by for a free sample. You might be lucky enough to see owner Bob Lawinger making the old-fashioned fudge by hand. 

Shipping is offered through the Web site and no need to worry about warm weather ruining your shipment -- fudge, surprisingly, does not melt.
