The Annapolis Post Office has a long history. Many original Annapolis residents began their careers at the "Post Office" (as it's known) and many ended their working journeys there as well. The Annapolis Post Office was built in 1901. It's currently listed on the Maryland Historical Trust Inventory of Historic Properties. The grand architecture of the original structure makes it one of the most recognizable properties in Annapolis. The "Post Office" has gone through several phases of renovation in order to bring some modern amenities to the structure. However, the original structure still remains. The Annapolis Post Office is still a full service post office selling stamps, envelopes, packaging, copies, shipping and more.
