Leadership Maryland is an independent, non-profit organization that aims to create a network of senior-level leaders…More throughout the state. The mission is to "broaden the base of leaders through the development of individual interest, statewide knowledge, and leadership ability that can be applied with power, influence, and authority for the greater good of Maryland."
Individuals must apply (the application packet can be downloaded from the website) and be selected to participate in Leadership Maryland programs. The office is located in one of the buildings in the Parole Professional Center, off Holiday Court and near Riva Road.
With Robert M. Bell serving as Chief Judge, the Maryland State Appeals Court has the highest authority of any court…More in the state. There are six other judges serving in the court alongside the Chief Judge: Judge Sally Adkins, Judge Clayton Greene, Jr., Judge Joseph M. Murphy Junior, Judge Mary Ellen Barbara, Judge Glenn T. Harrell, Jr. and Judge Lynne A. Battaglia. By law the court must hear any cases in which the death penalty is in question.
