UPDATE: Patient Jumps Out Hospital Window to Evade Arrest

Bradly Poure, 40, of New York, jumped out a sixth floor window at AAMC on Friday to avoid arrest by Annapolis police for several charges including second degree assault of an officer.

UPDATE: (Saturday, 6:30 p.m.)—A 40-year-old man suffered life threatening injuries after he jumped out a sixth floor window at Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) to avoid arrest on Friday at 4:30 p.m. "I can confirm that it is not an attempted suicide,” Chad Dillard, executive director of marketing for AAMC, said. “He was attempting to escape arrest.” Annapolis police officers responded to a call at about 4 a.m. on Thursday for a man sleeping near a motorcycle at the 24/7 Fuel Mart on Forest Drive, said Detective Amy Miguez. Officers approached Bradly Poure, of New York, and decided he needed to be taken to the hospital for an evaluation. “He did not want to go,” Miguez said. “I really can’t say much more than that because of patient …

Local NASCAR Driver Visits with AAMC Pediatric Patients

Donnie Neuenberger has recently started a foundation to help ailing children and patients fighting cancer and their families cope with the impact the disease can have on their lives.

A local NASCAR driver last week stopped by Anne Arundel Medical Center in Parole to visit with patients and sign some autographs. Donnie Neuenberger of Edgewater has been racing cars and trucks for 19 years and has competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. He began his first full season in the NASCAR Busch Series in 2004 competing for Rookie of The Year until his diagnosis of follicular non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a type of cancer, forced him to step out of the car after six races. He also withdrew from the Rookie of The Year competition.
