UPDATE: SUV Overturns Sending 7 People to Hospital
The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Route 50 and Interstate 97 in Annapolis, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
UPDATE (7:40 p.m.)—Seven people were transported to area hospitals when an SUV pulling a trailer overturned at the intersection of Route 50 and Route 665 around 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Route 665 and the Route 50 ramp closed for about an hour after the Ford Expedition carrying seven people overturned, according to Maryland State Police. One person was flown by helicopter with serious, but not life-threatening injuries to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, said Lt. Cliff Kooser of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
