Police said the incident occurred Tuesday afternoon on Forest Drive in Annapolis.
Annapolis Police are searching for a man they said used a knife to rob a convenience store late Tuesday morning. According to a police report, officers responded to the 1400 block of Forest Drive at 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday for a reported robbery. Police spoke to an employee at the store who said a man approached the register, displayed a knife and demanded money. Police said the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money then fled the area on foot. Annapolis Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

County Police are looking for a man who used a handgun to rob the Rite Aid on West Street in Annapolis on Saturday morning.
A man held up a store clerk the Rite Aid at 2027 West St. with a handgun around 9:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The cashier told police that the man entered the store and asked for change. He then displayed a handgun and took money from the register, police said. The man fled the store, and police reported he might have left in a dark-colored mid-size car, possibly a Honda Accord. It's the third commercial armed robbery to occur in Annapolis in less than a month. A man robbed the 7-Eleven on Forest Drive at gunpoint on Sept. 18, and another man stole an undisclosed amount of prescription medications from the CVS on Riva Road early on Sept. 16. Read more:
Two men are reported to have robbed a cab driver at knifepoint after he drove them to the Eastport-Annapolis Neck Library on Sunday.
An Annapolis cab driver was robbed at knifepoint by two men he picked up for a fare around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The cab driver told police he picked up three men in downtown Annapolis who asked to be driven to Annapolis Neck Road in the area of Hillsmere. One of the men asked to be let out at the intersection of Hillsmere Drive and Quiet Waters Park. He paid his fare and left, police said. Then, the other two men asked the the driver to take them to the Eastport-Annapolis Neck Branch Library. The cab driver told police that once he parked, one man pulled out a knife and demanded money. Police say a man robbed the 7-Eleven on Forest Drive in Annapolis early Tuesday morning.
The Annapolis Police Department is looking for a man who robbed the 7-Eleven on Forest Drive at gunpoint on Sept. 18. at about 1:40 a.m. Police said a female employee reported that a man entered the store crouching and approached her at the counter. He jumped on the counter, pointed a handgun at her and demanded money. The women told police that she opened the register and the man took between $55 to $65 before fleeing on foot. Police said he wore a ski mask and dark clothing during the attack. County police are still looking for two men in connection with robberies that occurred this week. A man asking for cigarettes approached another and then robbed him on Friday night, police said.
A man allegedly robbed another man and cut his right hand with a knife at 10:45 p.m. Friday, according to an Annapolis police report. The victim told police he was walking on Tyler Avenue near Janwall Street when a guy he didn't recognize approached him and asked for cigarette. The man then displayed a knife and demanded money, police said. Police said the man took money from the victim and ran away. He also cut the victim's right hand with the knife, but police said it didn't seem to be intentional. The victim told police he instinctually reached out for the knife and his hand was cut.

Police said the robber may be carrying a handgun.
Severn Savings Bank, located at 1917 West Street, was robbed around 10:45 a.m. Monday morning. It's unknown how much money the robber was able to steal and he may have a handgun, police said. Police described the robber as a 6-foot-tall man in his mid-50s or younger who is between 230 and 250 pounds. He also has a full beard or goatee and was wearing glasses, a blue baseball cap, a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt with a blue shirt underneath, white or tan pants and white sneakers. Mills-Parole Elementary School was under lockdown while investigators combed the area for the suspect, authorities said. I have lived in Annapolis my entire life and I hate to say it but most of this area is going down hill fast. There are constantly peddlars asking for money in parking lots, a lot of the strip malls are exactly that ~ stripped, ie: the one across from Clock Tower on Forest Drive and the one by the Giant near Bay Ridge.
