Police Investigate Gunfire Near Bay Ridge Plaza
A suspect fired multiple shots from the Exxon gas station on Sunday night, police say.
Annapolis police are searching for a suspect who fired multiple gunshots at a person near the Bay Ridge Plaza around 6:40 p.m. on Sunday night. Police said that the suspect was standing near the car wash and the Shop N Go at the Exxon gas station across from the shopping center when shots were fired. The intended victim may have fled into Bay Ridge Wine and Spirits, police said. Officers found a round in the parking lot near the liquor store, and a casing was found near the Shop N Go. No one was injured, but police said the shooter reportedly hit a red Ford truck as it turned into the liquor store parking lot from Hillsmere Drive. Police said the case is still being actively investigated.
