Bobby Flay, the celebrity chef, restaurateur and author, visited Williams-Sonoma in Westfield Annapolis mall today to sign his new book, Bar Americain for the hundreds of fans who waited in a line that stretched out through the mall. Only books that were sold by Williams-Sonoma were signed and as people purchased the book they received a ticket for the line. "We had approximately 720 books sold as of last night," said Cher Lamb, a sales associate at Williams-Sonoma. "We were allocated 900 (books)." By the time Flay started greeting fans, the store had sold more than the 900 books, she said. The celebrity chef to visit Westfield Annapolis on Wednesday to promote his latest cookbook.
Celebrity chef Bobby Flay will be in Greater Annapolis this week for a book-signing event to promote his latest cookbook. Flay will be at Williams-Sonoma in Westfield Annapolis mall at 2 p.m. Wednesday. He’ll be signing copies of his new cookbook Bobby Flay’s Bar Americain Cookbook. According to a release from Williams-Sonoma, space is limited and it is a ticketed event. Stop by the store or call 410-571-0589 to buy the book and get a ticket. Flay’s new book goes on sale Tuesday, according to the release, and tickets are available with a pre-order. According to the release, Flay only will be signing copies of his book that were purchased at Williams-Sonoma. Proof of purchase required.
