Two Men Rob Annapolis Drug Store

The suspects stole money and cigarettes from a CVS on Riva Road.

Two men stole money and cigarettes from an Annapolis CVS on Thursday morning, according to Anne Arundel County police. Officers responded to the drug store in the 2600 block of Riva Road shortly before 2 a.m. for a report of a commercial robbery. Employees told police that two men entered the store and demanded money. The pair stole an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes before fleeing the store. Neither man displayed a gun or implied that he had a weapon, police said. This CVS location was also robbed in September 2012 when a man stole an undisclosed amount of prescription medication from the pharmacist at around 2 a.m. Officers searched the area after Thursday's robbery with a K-9 unit, but they were unable to locate the suspects.
