A school bus and a sports utility vehicle were involved in a crash on Solomon's Island Road near West Street around 5:15 p.m. on Monday. The bus was off duty and no children were on board, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Fire Department spokesman Michael Pfaltzgraff said only property damage was reported and emergency personal did not need to transport anyone to the hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

County officials say two people were taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Two people were taken to the hospital after a car crash at Route 50 and West Street in Annapolis on Tuesday afternoon. Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Keith Swindle said emergency personal responded the crash around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. They transported two people to Anne Arundel Medical Center with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Swindle did not know the age or gender of the patients.

A 33-year-old man is the second pedestrian in 48 hours to die as a result of injuries after being struck by a vehicle.
A 33-year-old male died after being struck by a Land Rover at the intersection of Rowe Boulevard and Route 50 in Annapolis on Sunday, according to Maryland State Police. Emergency personnel responded to the scene just before 8:45 p.m. Anne Arundel County Fire Department official Capt. Mike Pfatlzgraff said they transported the man with life-threatening injuries to Anne Arundel Medical Center. State police confirmed that the man died at the hospital on Sunday night. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing. Authorities have not disclosed the man's identity. Police report that Curtis Proctor, Jr. has been charged in connection with stealing and crashing a woman's car on Sunday night.
UPDATE (9:45 a.m.)—Police have charged a 26-year-old Annapolis man in connection with the theft and destruction of his companion's car on Sunday night. Police report that Curtis Proctor, Jr. took a woman's car on Sunday night after she fell asleep at his home. He lost control of the 2011 Hyundai Sonata on Westgate Circle near Spa Road around 7 p.m. Police said the car struck a curb, went airborne and landed on the trunk of a Lincoln Town Car pushing the Town Car into another vehicle and causing the Hyundai to flip. One person was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in critical condition from a two-vehicle crash on Route 50 Wednesday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Emergency crews responded to a crash at Route 50 and Jennifer Road just before 6 a.m., said Capt. Michael Pfaltzgraff. He did not have additional details on the victims, including age and gender of the injured person. State police merged westbound traffic on Route 50 down to one lane after the accident, according to The Capital Gazette.

At least two people have been transported to University of Maryland's Shock Trauma Center.
Three people were injured when a vehicle rolled over in the 1400 block of Forest Drive near Annapolis Middle School on Saturday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Emergency responders transported a 47-year-old man by ambulance and an unidentified person by helicopter to University of Maryland's Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, said Battalion Chief Steve Thompson. The man suffered critical but not life-threatening injuries, Thompson said. The condition of the third person is not known at this time. Patch will update this story as it develops. At least that's the thinking at the Horse Boutique at 158 Main St. A young driver crashed a sport utility vehicle through the front of the downtown Annapolis store while attempting to parallel park on Saturday morning. The accident resulted in two minor injuries, and the store suffered cosmetic damage. The boutique and building owners quickly rushed to clear the broken glass and build a temporary, plywood wall until repairs can be made—which are estimated to take about two weeks. A car struck a 12-year-old boy before crashing through the front of Horse Boutique on Main Street in Annapolis.
UPDATE: (2:14 p.m.)—The driver of a black Ford Edge crashed through the front of Horse Boutique at 158 Main St. while attempting to parallel park around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Battalion Chief John Menassa said. "We were on our way to the boat show when the car came up and clipped my son," Kristen Wood said. "I was very startled ... I wish it was me and not [him.]" Wood's 12-year-old son William McCurdy was struck in the right hip by the sport utility vehicle. He was checked out by emergency personnel and suffered only minor injuries. McCurdy said he was scared when it happened, but he felt OK. He and his mom will be skipping the Powerboat Show. A car crash involving two vehicles on eastbound Route 50 at Route 665 sent one person to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Lt. Cliff Kooser of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. The accident occured on Friday at approximately 4:00 p.m. A helicopter was called out for transport, but Kooser said that was canceled when the patient went into trauma arrest—a condition where the heart and lungs cease to function due to a trauma. The person was transported in an ambulance to Anne Arundel County Medical Center in critical condition.
