A two-vehicle collision on Route 50 and Jennifer Road sends one person to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
One person was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in critical condition from a two-vehicle crash on Route 50 Wednesday morning, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Emergency crews responded to a crash at Route 50 and Jennifer Road just before 6 a.m., said Capt. Michael Pfaltzgraff. He did not have additional details on the victims, including age and gender of the injured person. State police merged westbound traffic on Route 50 down to one lane after the accident, according to The Capital Gazette.
Paramedics transported one person to the hospital in critical condition.
A car crash involving two vehicles on eastbound Route 50 at Route 665 sent one person to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Lt. Cliff Kooser of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. The accident occured on Friday at approximately 4:00 p.m. A helicopter was called out for transport, but Kooser said that was canceled when the patient went into trauma arrest—a condition where the heart and lungs cease to function due to a trauma. The person was transported in an ambulance to Anne Arundel County Medical Center in critical condition.
