The episode of 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' featuring the Johnson-Goslee family and The Fusion Cos. will air on Dec. 9 as a two-hour special.
Tearing down a house, putting a new one up all in less than a week, along with months of planning such a huge operation, could be enough to exhaust anyone. But not Wes Sims, owner of Annapolis-based The Fusion Cos., who just finished an extreme week—a week of building a dream house for an Eastern Shore family selected for the television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Now back in Annapolis and in the comfort of his own office in Historic Annapolis, Sims said he's ready to do it again, although he admits to some wear and tear, particularly at the height of the job. "After a couple of days, your body is so sleep-deprived, you don't recognize sleep-deprived," said Sims. "You'd have waves of complete exhaustion—I think, probably by the …

'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' and the Fusion Cos. of Annapolis notify members of the Johnson-Goslee family that they have been selected for the show.
The latest Maryland family selected for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition has now been notified and The Fusion Cos., based in Annapolis, will be building their new home. It happened Wednesday, when the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition bus pulled up to the Johnson-Goslee family home in Mardela Springs, MD, just outside of Salisbury. Using his bullhorn, Ty Pennington of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition called out to the family, who lives on a small street of modest homes. Pennington was accompanied by his fellow cast members, Michael Moloney, Paige Hemmis, Ed Sanders and Johnny Littlefield. According to a statement, issued by the …

Fusion Custom Homes will need lots of help to build dream home.
Wes Sims, owner of Fusion Custom Homes of Annapolis, announced this morning the family selected for the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is located in Wicomico County on Maryland's Eastern Shore. The family does not know yet—the 'door knock' will take place on Sept. 28. "The actual build location, we can say now, is Wicomico County," said Sims, which is approximately 90 miles from Annapolis. This is further away than the 30 miles from Annapolis both the builder and the show's senior producer told us they were originally looking for. "We heard rumbling of a couple of families that are really close by," said Sims. "There were so many variables in to finding the right family." Apparently the family in Wicomico County is very deserving. "…

The appearance is contingent on finding a local, deserving family for the new home.
The television show, "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," could be coming to this neck of the woods, and it has selected The Fusion Companies—based in Annapolis—to be its go-to builder. One thing though—Fusion needs a deserving person or family in the area before any of this can happen. "If we don't find a family, we don't have a show," said Wes Sims, president of The Fusion Companies, which is located on Prince George Street. "Nothing happens until that's crossed off the list." Fusion is utilizing social media to spread the word that they need a deserving person or family. If you haven't watched the show before, families who have given of themselves, who may or may not be dealing with physical, emotional, environmental or financial issues…
