Furniture Store Opens in Annapolis
Maine Cottage opened its colorful doors on West Street this weekend.
Maine Cottage, a coastal living furniture store, has opened the doors to its new location at 209 West St. in Annapolis. The store moved to downtown from its previous location in Severna Park to increase exposure and expand the store's brand, said owner Kevin Russell. He pointed to a "color bar" in the new showroom where 60 paint swatches will hang on the wall next to an array of fabric swatches. "The designers will be able to sit down with the client at the bar and actually create their own spaces," Russell said. "We just did not have the room to do this in our old location."
