Naval Academy Does the 'Harlem Shake'

Midshipmen from the Naval Academy's 13th Company created a dance-video to Baauer’s “Harlem Shake.”

Chances are you've heard the first 30 seconds of Baauer’s “Harlem Shake,” even if you haven't heard the whole song. It's one of the most popular songs on iTunes this month but it's also the latest viral dance craze on YouTube. Judging by the videos online, there are no special moves—or talent required—to make a "Harlem Shake" dance-video. There are several versions claiming to be the original, so many that it's hard to tell which video was the first. Patch found multiple Navy versions online—we've featured the best one that is credited to the 13th Company of the U.S. Naval Academy with more than 800,000 views on YouTube. A video featuring midshipmen dancing to "Gangnam Style" went viral last year. See more:
