PHOTO: L'Ecole de Danse Takes Trip to Kennedy Center
Annapolis ballet studio offered its students a little taste of culture with a trip to see a performance of 'Alvin Ailey.'
L'Ecole de Danse was kind enough to share a photo of the dance studio's students from a recent field trip. The school offered a unique cultural field trip on Sunday to the Kennedy Center to see a performance of Alvin Ailey, she said in an email. Located at the Gardner Center on Forest Drive, L'Ecole de Danse has been in Annapolis for 30 years, teaching classical ballet while also offering classes in modern and lyrical dance. Last year, Patch sat down with Barbara Winner, owner and lead instructor, and talked about the generations of dancers that have passed through the studio.
