Stores in downtown Annapolis will keep their doors open until midnight on Thursday and again on Dec. 13 for the annual block party known as Midnight Madness. Visitors to Main Street, State Circle, Maryland Avenue and inner West Street will enjoy musical performances, refreshments and discounts from area retailers. Still have lots of people to buy for this holiday season? This Thursday night, Annapolis businesses are making it easier by keeping their doors open until midnight. The annual event, Midnight Madness, will feature holiday-themed music and shoppers will have a chance to win prizes, meet Santa at the Market House and take holiday photos, according to a recent press release from the Annapolis Business Association. Many of the stores will also offer specials and sales, according to the release. WRNR and WNAV will be live on air from City Dock, and there will be musical performances from The Salvation Army Band and the Old Mill High School Steel Drum band.
