Howard Bank Inks Deal for Parole Location
The bank plans to open in the Defense Highway building by spring.
Howard Bank is planning to open a branch in Parole, its second location in Anne Arundel County. Murphy Commercial Real Estate officials said they have brokered a deal for the bank to open the branch on the first floor of the building at 116 Defense Highway. “We spent a considerable amount of time analyzing various property locations and the knowledge of each market that was provided by Murphy Commercial was invaluable,” George Coffman, Howard Bank executive vice president and chief financial officer, said in the release. The bank signed a seven-year lease for the location, according to the release. It is scheduled to open in the spring and include two drive-through lanes and a 24-hour ATM.
