A suspect used a knife in a robbery on Tyler Avenue Sunday.
A man was assaulted with a knife during a robbery on Tyler Avenue early Sunday morning, Annapolis police said. Annapolis police officers were dispatched to Tyler Avenue on Sunday just after midnight for a report of a robbery. The victim told police he came home to find a man searching underneath his deck, according to a police report. When he shouted at the man, the suspect came toward him, grabbed him by the neck and took $300 and a cell phone from the victim's pocket. The suspect then hit the victim in the back of the head with the butt of a knife, and slashed the blade at the victim's stomach, leaving a cut. The suspect then fled. On March 23, police said a suspect approached the cookie shop's clerk and handed over a note demanding money, according to a police report. Police said a man suffered non-life threatening injuries after being stabbed in a robbery attempt Wednesday morning.
Annapolis Police are seeking information on the suspect involved in an attempted robbery that led to a stabbing on Wednesday morning. At approximately 10:30 a.m., a man approached the male victim as he was walking to his car, on Abney Lane near Clay Street. The man demanded money and displayed a knife, threatening to stab the victim. During a struggle, the man stabbed the victim in the left arm, and fled on foot. The victim drove himself to the Anne Arundel Medical Center and was treated for non-life threatening injuries. Four suspects assaulted and robbed two victims Saturday night in Annapolis, county police said.
Anne Arundel County police are searching for two suspects involved in a robbery on Saturday. Police responded to the 700 block of Harness Creek View Drive at 3:12 a.m. Saturday for a report of a robbery of two people, according to a release. Upon arrival, they found two victims, a 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, who had been approached by two vehicles. Four men exited the vehicles, assaulted the victims with an unknown object, and took the female victim's purse and the male victim's cell phone before fleeing the area in two sedans, according to police. Annapolis police say two men took an undisclosed amount of cash from two other men after pointing a gun at them.
Two men reported having their money stolen at gunpoint by two other men near the Safeway on Forest Drive, according to Annapolis police. Police said the two victims reported being approached around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday by two men. One of the men had a handgun and both demanded money. Once the victims handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, the two assailants fled in a vehicle, according to a police report.

A 46-year-old male was beaten and robbed shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday while on his way to a bus stop, authorities said.
A 46-year-old man was walking in the 200 block of Clay St. early Wednesday on his way to a bus stop when he was assaulted by three males and robbed, according to the Annapolis Police Department. The suspects made off with $5 that the victim had in his pocket, according to police. The victim suffered a minor concussion and a cut above his eyebrow, authorities said. He was treated at the Anne Arundel Medical Center and released.

Police say a driver from Pizza Boli's on Forest Drive was robbed at knife point on Feb. 7.
Annapolis City Police want the public’s help in identifying a person they said robbed a pizza delivery driver from Pizza Boli's at knife point on Feb. 7. According to the police report, officers responded to the robbery around 1:10 a.m in the 1900 block of Copeland Street (off Bywater Road). According to a press release issued today, the driver told police he was delivering pizzas in that block of Copeland Street, and as he was walking, someone came up to him claiming to be the person who ordered the pizzas. The suspect held up two knives and demanded both money and the pizzas, the release stated, adding that after the driver complied to the demands, the suspect left the scene.
