Paralegal Writes Romance Novel Set in Annapolis
Roxanne Winkler's first self-published novel uses a criminal trial as the setting for her story about infidelity and forgiveness.
Drawing on more than 20 years of experience as a paralegal, Annapolis resident Roxanne Winkler tackles the subject of infidelity against a courtroom backdrop in her first self-published novel entitled "Admissions of Guilt." Winkler described the book as a contemporary romance novel set in Annapolis and Kent Island. The story follows Alexa Kincaid, a criminal trial lawyer, who soon discovers that her client is also carrying her husband's baby. "Alexa learns some powerful lessons about love, jealousy and forgiveness" Winkler said.
