UPDATE: Two Shot, Gas Line Punctured in Eastport Shooting

Police say two men were shot in the back and one in the head in the Eastport Terrace neighborhood of Annapolis near midnight on Sunday.

UPDATE: (5:15p.m.)—Two people were shot in Eastport near midnight on Sunday, according to the Annapolis Police Department. The shooting incident also damaged a meter, resulting in a natural gas leak. Police responded to the Eastport Terrace neighborhood of Annapolis at 11:38 p.m. Sunday and emergency personnel discovered a 22-year-old Annapolis man with gunshot wounds to his head, back and buttocks on Medgar Evars Street. A 27-year-old Severna Park man with a gunshot wound to his back was found on President Street. The 22-year-old was flown by helicopter to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he is reportedly in critical condition.
