Annapolitans Throw Christmas Party for Wounded Veterans
Warrior Events will host a dinner party in Annapolis for veterans from Walter Reed Hospital.
About 20 wounded veterans and their families will make the trip from Walter Reed Hospital in Bethesda to Annapolis this December for a Christmas party hosted by Warrior Events. "Our foundation puts on regular events for the wounded group at the hospital," Warrior Events founder John O’Leary said. "We do an event a month, and it made sense to a do holiday party." The idea is to get the troops out of the hospital for a night to relax and enjoy themselves like any regular holiday party, O'Leary said.
