$6,200 in Jewelry, Electronics Stolen From Annapolis Home

Thief takes two diamond rings and two flat screen televisions after breaking in through a kitchen window.

Police say someone broke into an Annapolis home Friday night and stole $6,200 worth of jewelry, clothing and electronics. Officers responded to a home in the 1000 block of Kensington Way around 2 a.m. on Saturday morning for a report of a burglary. The woman told police she left the house around 7 p.m. on Friday and returned home to find her living room television missing and glass on her kitchen floor. She left the house and called police. When the woman searcher her home with officers she discovered that a Panasonic video camera, a Nikon digital camera, a Vizio 47-inch flat screen television, a Dynex 27-inch flat screen television, four pair of Seven brand jeans, two diamond rings and some costume jewelery were stolen. Flatscreen Television Stolen From Annapolis Garage

The television was valued at $1,000.

An Annapolis couple awoke on Monday morning to discover that a flat screen television worth $1,000 was stolen from their garage, according to city police. Officers responded to the home in the 1100 block of August Drive on Monday around 10 a.m. The husband told police that he and wife returned home from vacation on Sunday around 10 p.m. and entered the house through the garage. The space is used both as a living room and storage area. The husband told police that he left the overhead door open until about 2 a.m. Monday morning when he closed it to go to bed.
