Dwyer Admits Drinking Before Boat Crash
Del. Don Dwyer, of Pasadena, told reporters no one should be drinking while operating a boat or any other motor vehicle.
Del. Don Dwyer (R-Pasadena) admitted to drinking before a boat crash on Wednesday in Anne Arundel County. Dwyer, sitting in a wheelchair and wearing a neck brace and a cast on his left foot, made the announcement during a brief press conference on Thursday outside of University of Maryland Hospital in downtown Baltimore, and refused to answer questions from reporters. "It is true that I was drinking while I was operating my boat yesterday. It's also been reported that my blood alcohol content was .2. No one, no one should be drinking and operating a motor vehicle or power boat," Dwyer said. "I deeply regret my actions and ask for forgiveness from the public." if anyone owes anyone an apology here, it's Dwyer to those children..... especially that little girl who is still suffering because of him. He's sooooooooo lucky none of them died. Only by a miracle. He is not taking responsibility for his actions by trying to make excuses and get out of this. he needs to step down and focus on getting his life together and an alcohol treatment program. more ›
