County fire investigators are looking for the cause of a vehicle fire in an Annapolis Mall parking garage.
Anne Arundel County Fire Department is investigating a vehicle fire that occurred in a parking garage at Westfield Annapolis Mall on Saturday. When firefighters arrived on scene around 10 a.m., the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and lots of smoke was pouring out into the garage, said Lt. Keith Hamilton, a fire department spokesman. It took 30 firefighters more than 20 minutes to extinguish the flames. Hamilton said no one was injured. The cause of the fire and estimated damages are still under investigation.

Police said the Gotts Garage attendant heard a few "loud pops" before finding the Jeep ablaze on the top floor of the garage.
Annapolis police responded to the report of a burning Jeep Wrangler on the top floor of Gott's Court Parking Garage early Monday morning. According to a police report, officers responded to a call at about 2:30 a.m. Monday. The fire department was already on the scene and had the flames under control. Police said the Jeep is registered to John Sinner, 46, of Queenstown. An officer said Sinner suffered minor burns to his hands. Police said the garage attendant said he saw Sinner walk into the garage moments before he heard a few "loud pops" come from the upper levels of the garage. A vehicle fire was quickly extinguished at the Shell gas station and there were no reported injuries.
A fire was reported on Wednesday and units were dispatched around 10:14 a.m. to the Riva Road Shell gas station, according to Chief Michael Cox of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. The vehicle fire did not involve gasoline and no one was injured, said Cox.
