Verizon Wireless Store Burglarized in Annapolis

Police say someone stole an Apple iPad and iPhone worth about $800.

Someone threw two bricks in an attempt to smash the glass door of a Verizon Wireless store in downtown Annapolis early Wednesday morning, according to city police. An officer responded to the store in the 200 block of Main Street around 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday after it was reported that someone had thrown the bricks. Police said the glass door was cracked but still in one piece when the officer arrived. He reportedly observed that someone was able to push the glass panel back and climb into the store. The store owner arrived and reported an Apple iPad and iPhone worth approximately $800 were missing.

Three People Assault, Rob 16-Year-Old in Annapolis

Police say the boy was walking in the 1600 block of Forest Drive at the time.

Three people punched, kicked and robbed a 16-year-old boy Friday night in Annapolis, according to city police. The teen told police he had just left a 7-Eleven and was walking in the 1600 block of Forest Drive around 8:45 p.m. He reportedly saw an acquaintance and two other people who were wearing ski masks on the other side of the street. Police said the victim crossed the street and tried to engage the trio in a friendly conversation, but they punched and kicked him until he fell to the ground. The assailants then took his iPhone and wallet. The teen called police when he got home. He refused medical treatment despite back pains and bruises on his forehead and left forearm.
