Christian is a recent graduate of Christopher Newport University, where he majored in journalism. He wrote extensively for the school newspaper, "The Captain's Log," serving as the primary reporter for the news, world and nation sections. After graduation, Christian worked as a freelance correspondent for "The Daily Press," a southeastern Virginia daily newspaper.
