Hot Air Balloons, Laser Show Coming To Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds

CROWNSVILLE, MD - A hot air balloon festival is coming to the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds this weekend. A laser show will illuminate the balloons around 9 p.m. each night.

The event, called the Balloon Glow & Laser Show, is sold out for Saturday. Tickets are still available for Sunday. Gates open at 5 p.m. each day.

Adults are $20 plus fees. Children ages 6 to 17 are $8 plus fees. Kids 5 and under are free.

For an additional $25, attendees can ride a hot air balloon that's tethered to the ground. These rides are weather-dependent and are first come, first served. A wristband that costs an extra $50 plus fees will let riders skip the line. 

Parking is free, but there is VIP parking for $40 plus fees.

The event will also feature live music, a DJ, a kids zone, vendors and food. Coolers are prohibited.

Guests are encouraged to bring a chair, blanket and umbrella to watch the spectacle.

The fairgrounds are located in Crownsville at 1450 Generals Highway.
