ANNAPOLIS, MD - Naval Support Activity Annapolis went on a brief lockdown Tuesday afternoon following reports of a robbery.

Officials announced the lockdown at 4:11 p.m. The lockdown was lifted at 4:30 p.m., and the scene was declared secure.

The base said there were unconfirmed reports of a robbery at the NSA Annapolis Commissary and Navy Exchange.

The Navy asked visitors to still avoid the area.
