Man Shot, Hospitalized In Annapolis' Robinwood Community: Police

ANNAPOLIS, MD - A man was shot and hospitalized Thursday night in Annapolis, police announced Friday afternoon.

Officers said the victim is in stable condition. Authorities are still looking for the unknown suspect(s).

A police officer patrolling the Robinwood community reported hearing gunshots in the 1400 block of Tyler Avenue.

The officer said they found the victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the leg.

The victim reported that he was outside when he heard gunfire and realized he'd been shot, a press release said.

The Annapolis Police Department is still investigating.

Annapolis is trying to compete with Baltimore for shootings it appears. But don't you love the way Patch has tried to make it more difficult for people to comment on any of these stories? Must be gearing up for the next election cycle hey?
